Those rats keep pushing on, woah - An expression referring to the rat race in the modern world that people rush and scavenge to survive in this world. slang term "woah"
The slowest race around - Contradiction as so many people rush in the world but so many people rushing to survive it actually makes a slow race mentally.
We all just race around, woah - worlds populations in the "rat race" so we all just rac around in this rat race. Slang term "woah"

The song I chosen is middle class rut - Busy Bein Born


The reason i chose this song was because this song was in 2011, came 26th in the billboard hot 100 alternative songs and was 47th in hot 100 rock songs as well. This being the reason that the song stood out in my mind as it was a song that is not popular in the charts and it didn't have a multi million doller budget, and I found the song on a sports game (NHL 12. Being an example of cross media convergence) so thats a reason for wanting a sports themed narrative. However the music video of the song follows themes like slavery and child abuse so it is very dark so the genre of the song is more towards heavy metal genre so the narrative of the video needs to be dark as well which made me think to film my video at night.
